Axiros Broadband World Forum 2019 Recap

It´s all about TR-369, TR-069, USP, IoT, Device Management, Proactive Network Maintenance and WiFi Optimization

Broadband World Forum returned this year, meanwhile for its 19th year! While it originally started as a fixed access event, the BBWF today aims 360 degree on the needs of cable, mobile, fixed and converged operators. This demanding self-conception had been reflected also in the ambitious theme, the BBWF had set itself for 2019: SEPARATE FACT FROM FICTION - Cut through industry hype and get real answers to today's challenges!

Axiros was once again present at the event, for the 14th time in a row. We showcased our latest solutions in the fields of carrier-grade Device Management for operators and IoT ecosystems - namely solutions around DHCP & DOCSIS | WiFi Optimization | Service Automation | Service Assurance | ProActive Maintenance and all the latest and best around TR-069 and TR-369.

The focus was clearly on the numerous live demos we gave - presenting how operators can maintain E2E life cycle management for services and things in an IIoT ecosystem.

Parallel to the fair with our exhibition space, we were also present at the Broadband Forum Interop pavilion. Together with domos, a Norwegian company specializing in machine learning for the connected home, we led a demonstration sponsored by Vodafone and which included partner KAONMEDIA. It was all about quality attenuation measurements across a Wi-Fi connection, and real-time predictions of those measurements generated by a deep neural network using passive data measurements from the CPE. This all based on the Axiros TR-369 USP agent and controller.
