EWE TEL & osnatel - Axiros Axess As Building Block For Central Provisioning And Comprehensive Device Management

With effect from 1 January 2009, Stadtwerke Osnabrück decided to transfer its equity holding in osnatel GmbH to EWE TEL GmbH - making osnatel a wholly owned EWE TEL subsidiary. As one of Germany´s biggest regional telecommunication company EWE TEL is now offering telecommunication services to more than 540.000 customers.
In October 2009 EWE TEL decided to merge and consolidate various existing device provisioning solutions to a single central Device Management platform. EWE TEL decided on Axiros Axess as their future building block for provisioning & real-time device monitoring.
Axiros Axess allows service providers to expand broadband service revenues, while significantly reducing operational and support costs through automated service provisioning and comprehensive Device Management.
Axiros Axess fully met all the requirements regarding scalability and flexibility to manage complexity of provisioning and monitoring. Within a little more than 10 weeks for design, customization and deployment Axiros set all requirements into practice - professionally and timely.
EWE TEL is now enabled to utilize all the given benefits of zero-touch provisioning, customer self-service portals and managing customer experience with real-time monitoring of the residential home.
